Sleep Deficiency

I am very sleepy right now, due to my own actions.

I believe I am going to do some completely commercial drawings and sell them under a psuedonym. The Battlefield, Flowers, etc. It’s all practice nonetheless, no matter what the subject matter is. This way I’ll be able to cash in on my art. It’s a novel idea for me. Instead of “selling out” I consider it, “supporting my family”. Hmm. We shall see.

Derek Miles Verrilli was born on June twentieth nineteen hundred eighty-one at Lawerence Hospital in Bronxville New York. He received a relatively normal childhood and explored alienation at a young age. While developing resentment towards his peers he found solace in video games, music and art. Living mostly in fantasy it wasn't until he reached his early twenties that he decided to create a relationship with reality. Having realized the anguish and rejection he felt in his formative years was sorely magnified internally, he is now putting effort into working on his own mind. This blog is one of many attempts at communicating his erratic mental processes and to share some mundane experiences, which he finds beautiful.
