RGIS and Insects

While hypnotically floating through target tonight, suddenly, the inventory people appeared. They got right to work and their scanners played a delightful two note melody after scanning a bar code. With maybe twenty employees scanning things all over the store they turned it into an artificial summer night.

It was beautiful.

As I looked around I day dreamed about the founder thinking about starting his own store (this google search “founder of target retail chain” returned a brief history.) Founded in 1902? It’s more than 100 years old. That amazes me.

I remember the first time I walked in and saw the distinctive presstube drawings hanging from the ceiling. I couldn’t believe it. It was great.

I’m now walking to the grocery store to buy a few things. Quite a day for consumption.
