simple dream

regretful hibernation
jealously cleft lip
melted chocolates in every pocket
paycheck simmering
lemon lime guide to investing
sweater vest apathy
drawing conclusions on a receipt from the slave auction

pass variable as argument through bloated stomachs
weeping unattended grudge
lovers sharing mechanically separated chicken
serve paper dishes on ceramic plates
please use a #2 pencil when we lose 1 hour

if you don’t see him keep digging
keep seeing

Derek Miles Verrilli was born on June twentieth nineteen hundred eighty-one at Lawerence Hospital in Bronxville New York. He received a relatively normal childhood and explored alienation at a young age. While developing resentment towards his peers he found solace in video games, music and art. Living mostly in fantasy it wasn't until he reached his early twenties that he decided to create a relationship with reality. Having realized the anguish and rejection he felt in his formative years was sorely magnified internally, he is now putting effort into working on his own mind. This blog is one of many attempts at communicating his erratic mental processes and to share some mundane experiences, which he finds beautiful.
