Forest Grove

In the speech he gave when he broke ground he said, “Forest Grove will be a place where you can sit by your crystal blue pool and wash away the recollection of the outside world. A place where kids can grow up knowing that their home is the safest place on earth, like a warm bed at night, tucked tightly, safe and secure. A place where there is no pain and no fear.”

Derek Miles Verrilli was born on June twentieth nineteen hundred eighty-one at Lawerence Hospital in Bronxville New York. He received a relatively normal childhood and explored alienation at a young age. While developing resentment towards his peers he found solace in video games, music and art. Living mostly in fantasy it wasn't until he reached his early twenties that he decided to create a relationship with reality. Having realized the anguish and rejection he felt in his formative years was sorely magnified internally, he is now putting effort into working on his own mind. This blog is one of many attempts at communicating his erratic mental processes and to share some mundane experiences, which he finds beautiful.
